After reading Karr’s Lost in the Golden State, write about a time you did something solely to impress someone else (or to shape someone’s view of you).

1. Select a quote that holds meaning for you or moves you from a song lyric
2. Cite your quote (performer, song title, year)

3. Prepare your material for display on the classroom wall (use fonts, colors, images, etc.) and share your google doc in GoogleClassroom with Ms. Harris, ready to print.
